  I come to give give a compliment and read a horrible review here. My granddaddy has been at the facility approaching 8 years. There is some untruth in a review here. As kin folk to a long term person, I can attest there is no greeting of urine. The nursing home has been fully remodeled, I remember when they moved my granddaddy & roommate out of there rooms to update it. The facility is clean & free of wheelchairs in the hallways. Recently a new Lady was hired and she has made a remarkable change. When Diana was there yes the facility was run down a little. That lady was lucifer. The new Lady is very pleasant and gets down to business right away. Her staff is friendly and they do care. We are all entitled to our opinions but that review from Easley is not the truth. There are 3 wings with a nurse to each side so how could there be 4 nurses needed? We are God's people and should be honest when writing these reviews. I'm happy about the new construction, my kin folks are happy with the care, far as the food be mindful this is a nursing home not a 5 star restaurant. If I know anyone in need of assistance I would happily refer them to Applewood. The last 2 months the place has changed dramatically under the new Lady. I find it hard to believe a complaint went unanswered by the head of the facility she's a very attentive woman. And she doesn't play about the residents. Kudos for the change thank you. The new Lady is doing so wonderful and I wish her the best. I'm surprised and tilt my hat off to her in such a short time there is miraculous change for Granddaddy and all the others under her care.

  Revising my review, Applewood has a new Administrator whom is Heaven sent! I strongly feel she is what my Beloved & other Residents need. When things were rough under the old Administrator, we searched for another facility in which they were either filled or garbage! I'm elated that we stuck it out & didn't move our Beloved. The facility is being lead by a phenomenal Woman who exemplifies Leadership! So far her strategy proves she has the Residents best interest at heart!! I love the change she has implemented, the facility is beautiful, clean, and staffed with people who care for the Residents. It brings such joy to my heart, to no longer have to worry about my Beloved. I would recommend Applewood to anyone looking for a beautiful home for their loved one. Not to mention the new construction is making it even more beautiful.

  Thankful to hear my Aunt is doing good after my cousin was drugged through hell at this facility the last year standing for what's right!! If you care for the Residents properly there wouldn't be complaints. My cousin reported to us down here in Mississippi the facility has improved, since new upper management was hired addressing issues promptly & professional. That's all we as the family want, is for our beloved to be taken care of. Thank you Applewood for doing so. I guess it's safe to say, change has come!
